#EndSARS: Angry mob burn Nnamdi Azikiwe’s statue in Anambra

Angry mob in Anambra State Nigeria burn the statue of the pioneer President of Nigeria, Nnamdi Azikiwe in Onitsha.

The status which is located at Denis Memorial Grammar School Round-about, Awka Avenue, Onitsha, known as Zik Round-about. As the rampage was on, the angry mob burnt the statue with petrol.

 Burning the statue, the mob were shouting “You put us in this mess by championing one Nigeria,” “You’re the cause of our trouble,” amongst other uncomplimentary remarks poured out on it.

Insidegist9ja believes that the current #EndSARS protest in Nigeria has been hijacked by some hoodlums in some locations, causing severe destruction to lives and properties. This has ignited the sudden placement of curfyin some states.
